Since 1973, ECEC has supported families of children with disabilities.

ECEC is a private, nonprofit preschool.

Serving Children and Their Families
ECEC is open to any child, from age three to age five, with a disability. All of our programs are available at no charge to families.

Self-Contained and Integrated Classrooms
The Center operates in Albany, Schenectady, and Troy. All sites have access to a large gym and/or gross motor area, an adapted playground and outdoor play areas.

Our mission is to act upon our beliefs, nurturing, teaching, and supporting ECEC children and families to enhance the achievement of children's educational and therapeutic goals.

Approval
ECEC is approved by the New York State Education Department, the Department of Health and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.

Board of Trustees
ECEC is supervised by an unpaid Board of Trustees composed of interested community professionals and parents of children currently enrolled in one of ECEC’s programs.
